So, how are brownies slutty? By being combined with cookie dough, and oreos.
Questions? No? Just make these. But make sure you have a crowd coming over, these are rich little treats and they're definitely best if shared with many...
adapted from What's Gaby Cooking?
Cookie dough layer:
125 g butter (or dairy-free margarine, which I used) at room temperature
55 g brown sugar
170 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
185 all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
160 g chocolate chips
24 oreos (or however many will fit into your pan, in a neat single layer)
140 g butter (or dairy-free margarine, which I used)
240 g sugar
140 g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
75 g all-purpose flour
Start with the cookie dough. Cream butter and both sugars, until white and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla. Stir in the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and finally the chocolate chips. Press into a lined baking tin - I use a really good baking foil that never sticks to anything, so perfect for lining.
Arrange oreos, in one layer, on top of the cookie dough.
For the brownie layer, melt the butter. Add sugar and cocoa and mix well. Stir in salt, vanilla, the eggs and finally the flour. Pour evenly on top of the oreos.
Bake at 175°C for about 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
